Joana is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant® (CMPC) who specializes in helping clients develop and use mental, life, and self-regulatory skills enabling them to take more efficient and effective steps to achieving personal growth, career goals, and a healthy work/life balance.

Joana has diverse leadership experience and an acute ability to understand people. The skill sets she obtained as an Elite Athlete, Sport Coach, Director, and Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC®) have provided her with extensive experiences listening and coaching, thereby enabling clients to meet their organizational objectives and goals.

As a professional and career coach, Joana aims to motivate individuals and professionals to achieve their potential by not only addressing their weaknesses but also fostering their strengths. By creating a space where clients can be vulnerable and honest, Joana is able to take the time necessary to explore their past and present circumstances and become a trusted member of their support team. Joana aspires to help clients refocus on the professional development process and take more efficient and effective steps towards achieving their goals by cultivating curiosity, challenging their perspectives, and refining their strategies.

As a CMPC®, Joana has professional experience working with individuals and groups in high performing environments to discover their passion and purpose. She specializes in helping clients develop and use mental, life, and self-regulatory skills to optimize performance, enjoyment, and/or personal and professional development in their workplace.

Joana holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where she also played Division I soccer. She has 10 years of experience as a Coach and Director at FC Wisconsin Soccer Club. She is also a certified practitioner of the MBTI Step I and Step II instruments. Joana holds a Master’s Degree in Sport and Performance Psychology and earned her certification through the Association of Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant®.
