CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT TESTIMONIALS "During the recent installation and start-up of our new spunlace line, Ahlstrom Green Bay adopted a new approach to training, one that was proposed and developed by Inspired Training. In this effort, technical writers from Inspired Training worked with our Operations and Engineering personnel to develop a full compliment of training materials designed to provide basic understanding and operational training for the new line. The 20+ modules were broken down into Safety, a General Line Overview and then specific modules for each section, and sometimes sub-sections of the line. Additionally, modules were provided for both the trainee and trainer, such that any of our experienced plant personnel could provide this training to new employees. This new training approach has been very well received by our Operations Group and is also used to provide basic process training for others within the Ahlstrom Company. Prior to this system, training of new employees was a constant logistical issue, was not done consistently and was found lacking by both Operations and Management. We are presently planning to continue our relationship with Inspired Training to complete similar Training materials for our other process lines. Inspired Training did a fantastic job in developing these professional training materials.They were conscientious, detailed and dedicated in completing this task on time to support our line start-up and were very flexible with their time, setting their schedule to match Ahlstrom's needs. They also assisted Ahlstrom in working with the State of Wisconsin to obtain grant money to offset the development cost of these training materials. Overall, we were very satisfied with both the final training package from Inspired Training, as well as, their methodology in completing this task."
